Separating and migrating AWS-hosted data into a new company account

The challenge

Following a management-level separation, Qinecsa required data held in an existing company AWS account to be transferred into a new company-controlled AWS account with clear ownership and continuity.

What we delivered

We supported the account-separation migration by identifying the data and dependencies involved, planning the transfer between the source and destination AWS accounts, and coordinating validation within the new ownership boundary. The work required careful handling of access, destination readiness and transfer sequencing so responsibility for the migrated data could move to the new company environment in a controlled way. Post-migration support focused on confirming access and usability in the destination account and assisting with the operational handover. The engagement is a practical example of cloud migration driven by organisational change, where governance, access and data ownership are as important as movement of the data itself.
