ERP implementation alongside an on-premises data-centre upgrade

Imam Clinic

The challenge

Imam Clinic required an ERP implementation while continuing to rely on an existing on-premises data-centre environment. The business-system project and the infrastructure upgrade could not be separated: ERP reliability depended on compute, storage, network access, backup practices and the readiness of the local environment. Healthcare operations also require careful coordination because technology change can affect administrative and service-supporting workflows. The work therefore needed to improve infrastructure readiness, support implementation and retain a practical path for the clinic's team to operate the system after go-live.

What we delivered

## Current-environment assessment We reviewed the on-premises environment in the context of the ERP implementation, identifying the infrastructure areas that affected capacity, access, continuity and support. This connected upgrade decisions to the actual business-system requirement. ## Data-centre upgrade support The engagement included technical support for improving the existing data-centre environment. Work was coordinated around the clinic's operational constraints, with attention to the dependencies required by the ERP platform and the systems already in use. ## ERP implementation We supported ERP implementation from the infrastructure and operational side, helping align application readiness with user access, local connectivity and the surrounding environment. Validation considered whether the system could be used reliably by the intended teams, not only whether installation completed. ## Handover and ongoing support Documentation, issue resolution and implementation support helped the clinic transition from project activity into normal operation. The combined approach provided a single view of ERP and infrastructure dependencies during the upgrade.

Outcome

Imam Clinic received an ERP implementation supported by improvements to its existing on-premises data-centre environment. Coordinating both workstreams reduced the risk of introducing a business system onto infrastructure that had not been considered as part of the implementation. The engagement created a stronger technical basis for the clinic's administrative systems and gave the team clearer support around the relationship between ERP operation and local infrastructure. It also preserved the organisation's on-premises model while improving readiness for the new platform. No patient information, clinical data, confidential system inventory or unsupported service-availability figures are included in this public profile.
